I.B.C.C. International Brigade Commemoration Committee.

The I.B.C.C. was founded in February 2005. It is a non party political/cross community based charity that came together in order to commemorate Anti fascist volunteers who fought Fascism in what is commonly referred to as the civil war/revolution in Spain 1936-39.

The I.B.C.C. intends to commemorate volunteers from the North of Ireland in 2006, which will coincide with the seventieth anniversary of the beginning of the 1936-39 Anti fascist war.

We have decided to organise a series of events aimed at raising funds and awareness about these brave Anti Fascists and about the commemoration itself, the location of which will be in Belfast City Centre. If you think you might be able to help us in any way, please contact us.
